Facebook Reality Labs is Facebook's internal AR/VR research and development team, which is beginning to make its presence felt by leading Facebook Connect (formerly Oculus Connect) from 2020. In particular, AR glasses are scheduled to be announced in 2021, and the team is positioned as a key player in Facebook's efforts to further differentiate itself in the XR space.
